On the ball with SEEK

Last week I wrote a post on my predictions for SEEK in 2009. I predicted a drop in revenue but increase in job search traffic.

This came in the news:
"Concern over the slowing economy has helped produce an unseasonable jump in the number of people visiting job board sites." - AdNews

"Seek downgrades profit outlook" - Smart Company

Hi Dave,

I stumbled across your blog via Aussie Bloggers. I've added it to my long list that I follow:)

I've used Seek myself a couple of times over the past few months, and I have been wondering why on earth it seems to be the Internet's SLOWEST website!!?!!?!? Is it getting record levels of traffic right now??!!?

Thanks for adding my blog to your list!:)

Seek is currently number 1 with 2.79million UBs in October.

CareerOne is doing 1.42million UBs and MyCareers at 1.41million UBs.

Seek is aware and making changes in code matrix land.
